Closed final exams take place offline in Building J room 307 at 13.00 – 16.00 WIB. In the presentation of his dissertation entitled “Management of Skipjack Fishery (Katsuwonus pelamis, Lunnaeus 1758) Based on the Sentinel Imagery Algorithm and Oceanographic Characteristics in WPP 715 Waters of Southwest Papua” Promovendus provides an overview of the skipjack tuna resource management model based on stock potential analysis with resource surplus production prediction models. Skipjack fish power has decreased. Efforts to utilize (effort) of 120% have experienced over exploided. The management model for skipjack tuna resources is in the form of policies based on production quotas which are based on the carrying capacity policy in fishing areas (data, information, technology) to become a reference for skipjack resource management policies. Setting catch quotas also using spatial models and fishing season algorithms can be used as a policy reference in determining the amount of effort and how long fishing activities (trips) are carried out. Promovendus has an educational history of completing D4 education majoring in Fishing Technology at the Jakarta High School of Fisheries (STP) and graduating in 1999. In 2009 the author continued his Masters education at the Postgraduate Program at Diponegoro University in the Coastal Resources Management Study Program, graduating in 2011 with a scholarship from the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fishery. In 2018 he participated in the Doctoral Study Program in Aquatic Resources Management at Diponegoro University with a scholarship from the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries.
