On Tuesday, October 28, 2025, Baruna Kusuma held an offline dissertation research seminar in Building J, Room 305, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Diponegoro University (FPIK Undip) at 2:00 PM WIB. Baruna Kusuma is a Doctoral student in the Aquatic Resources Management Program and a recipient of the 2022 Indonesian Education Scholarship. The research seminar presented the analysis of the research findings obtained during the preparation of his dissertation, presented to lecturers and colleagues for advice and guidance on the next stage.
The dissertation research was entitled “Bioecological Study of Ghost Shrimp (Karumballichirus sp. Poore & Griffin 1979) in the Madura Strait Waters of East Java.” The research seminar was attended by Prof. Dr. Ir. Suradi, M.S. (Promoter), Dr. Aninditia Sabdaningsih, S.Si, M.Si (Co-Promoter II and Manager), Prof. Dr. Ir. Muhammad Zainuri, DEA (Examiner), Prof. Dr. Aristi Dian PF, S.Pi, M.Si (Examiner), Prof. Agus Trianto, ST, M.Sc, Ph.D (Examiner) and fellow students. Based on the presentation of the research results seminar, Abdul Qadir was declared able to proceed to the next stage with several revisions that must be fixed first.
