Admission of New Students
Doctoral Program Curriculum and Study Period
The MSDP Doctoral Program study load is a maximum of 84 credits, taken for a maximum of 6 years with the following details:
A. Doctoral By Course
This program is implemented in 2 (two) semesters of the Doctoral education preparation program (lectures will be delivered face-to-face in both mandatory and elective courses based on the student’s area of interest and lecturer competency). At the beginning of the first semester, students are allowed to have a Supervisory Commission (Promoter and Co-promoter) and make a Dissertation Proposal which will be assessed by the Supervisory Commission together with the Water Resources Management Doctoral Academic Supervisor Team. Students complete 1 reputable international publication and 1 accredited national publication.
B. Doctoral By Research
The total credits for this program is 84 credits. In the first semester, students are allowed to take mandatory courses (sit in) or review literature to prepare for research. The distinction between lecture programs and research programs is based on the output of scientific publications. Doctoral research must publish a minimum of 2 reputable international journal articles and 1 accredited national journal article in six to twelve semesters.
